A: All items are in stock and can be picked up immediately upon order.
Q: Where can I pick it up when it is ready?
A: Power Promotional Concepts at 133 Portland Street in Dartmouth. Our office is open from 10am – 3pm, Monday to Friday. Call us at 902-468-1236 to arrange your pick-up time.

A: No. We have decided to stop shipping and become pick-up only.

Q: Are the products made locally?
A: Power Promotional Concepts is a local, family-owned company and we are making all of the products. The shirts are not locally made — they are basic retail brands (Gildan, M&O, Independent) we chose to maximize our ability to keep reasonable price points while still being able to make a relatively decent donation to charity on each item sold — but all of the art is by a local artist and the screen printing will be done locally. The mugs will not be produced locally. The t-shirts and mugs are both made by companies that employ local sales reps in Nova Scotia, though!
Q: What charities will benefit from these purchases?
A: Proceeds from the 2023 Summer Local Love Shop will to towards the Dartmouth Community Fridge. In the past two years, we used the Local Love store as a way to raise money for Out of the Cold, Halifax Mutual Aid, Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank, Margaret’s House and Phoenix Youth Programs among others. In 2020, we raised money for organizations like Margaret’s House, Nourish Nova Scotia, the Oxford & Area Food Bank, Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank, Phoenix Youth Programs, the Glace Bay Food Bank, and Feed Nova Scotia, The Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia, The Community of Africville Liberation Fund, Eddie Carvery -50 Years of Africville Activism, The North Grove, and LOVE Nova Scotia. We hope you will check out these various organizations and causes and think about making additional donations.
Q: Can I return or exchange my order?
A: All sales are final. These items were made in small, limited quantities and once sold are no longer available, which means we can’t swap sizes or do exchanges. If your item is damaged (not from normal wear-and-tear or because you washed it in hot water!) please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do. If you do want a refund, you will be required to bring back the item or ship back the item at your expense.
